    Responsibilities

    Prairie River Home Care, Inc. Registered Nurse (RN) Admission Nurses evaluate, implement, and coordinate care for our new clients.

     

    PRHC RN Admission Nurses enjoy:

    Prairie River Home Care, Inc. Admission Nurses; Work as a collaborative part of the health care team. Provides total client care to include; admission assessments, coordination of new client to case managers, oversees field staff, medications and treatments administered as ordered by the physician, physical and psychological care, and client and family education. Assesses and interprets symptoms and institutes remedial measures within legal limits, and reports significant changes in client's condition.

    Qualifications

    • Currently licensed as an RN in the state of MN.
    • Preferred but not required- Have 2 years of experience in a health care setting
    • Preferred but not required- OASIS documentation experience
    • Possess the ability to work independently
    • Ability to make appropriate clinical judgments.
    • Good written and oral communication skills; interpersonal communication and teaching skills.
    • Ability to manage a variety of assignments while establishing priorities and assuring that necessary duties are completed.

    Physical Requirements (Text Only)

    Heavy to Very Heavy. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for heavy work.
